BAO Weimin, an expertise in guidance and control, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, was born in 1960 in Harbin, the capital city of Heilongjiang Province, China. Majored in information processing, he graduated from the department of electronics engineering, Northwest Institute of Telecommunication Engineering (now Xidian University) in August 1982. Mr Bao is elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005. Now he is the dean of the School of Aerospace Science and Technology (SAST) of Xidian University and the director of Science and Technology Committee of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASTC). He is also the academic leader in the fields of control system and overall design of aerospace vehicle. In past years of his career, Mr Bao pays highly attention to combining the theory with the practice and he has solved serials of technical problems in the process of constructing the modernized national defense. He receives his honor by winning the national science and technology progress award and many other renowned prizes. He is one of the young and middle-aged experts who have great contributions to science, technology and industry for national defense.

LV Yueguang, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, was born in 1964 in Guangrao country, Shandong Province, China. He was admitted to Wuhan University of Naval Engineering in 1980 and assigned to work in Zhangjiakou Communication college after his graduation. Mr Lv got his doctoral degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1990. He was promoted to major general in August 2008 and elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2011. Mr Lv is now the chief engineer and vice director of 54 Research Institute under the General Staff. He is also the specially-appointed researcher and full professor at the Institute of Optics and Electronics under the Chinese Academy of Science. He is an adjunct professor and instructor for graduate students in the school of electronics engineering in Xidian University. Since 2013, Mr Lv has become a dual-employed academician of Xidian University. His research areas includes but not limited to: technologies of electromagnetic field, optoelectronic, information processing, target recognition, and data aggregation.
