In order to enhance the professional education, help students to establish correct values, and guide students in the scientific research practice, students of SAST are highly encouraged to actively participate in the electronic and scientific competitions such as the Xinghuo Cup. The school has also organized students to take part in various recreational and entertainment activities. Our aim is to nurture the spirituality of students, create high art atmosphere, fortify students’ health, as well as show the graceful demeanor of the school. In particular, our undergraduate students of the experimental class have an outstanding performance in the chorus contest of the college students in the year 2013, and the school is granted the outstanding organization award. In the seventh long distance running activities of nationwide in winter, Miss Yuan Xiaole, a master student of class 2013, took top prize in the women’s competition of the university. In the first tabloid sports meeting, SAST was granted the morality award of the physical education, and won the fifth group prize. These activities can help student in establishing correct values and shape their morality, learning style, psychological health and safety concept.

In order to strengthen the culture construction of the school and class, SAST has held a serial of interesting activities, including the New Year’s party, welcome party for fresh students, and recreational parties such as “Dumpling Making in Winter Solstice Festival”. These activities have facilitated communication between students and faculty staffs, meanwhile enhanced the class cohesion and solidarity. To guarantee the safety of students in campus, the school periodically gives lectures and issues materials to students on topics of fire protection, transportation, and personal safety. These activities have greatly enhanced the traffic safety consciousness of students. As a result, our students could better defend themselves from attack.

The school has also devoted itself in improving the award and superior evaluation management system. By improving and standardizing the issuing of the student financial assistance, the state stipend and social scholarship can be successfully distributed among students in need.
