SAST offers the master’s program under the subject of Navigation Guidance and Control. This subject is based on the automatic control, precision instruments, computers, electronic technologies, and engineering mechanics. The goal is to conduct research in the design, development and applications of the electronic information systems in the modern navigation and control. The major research area covers the following topics: information sensing and image acquisition, signal control and information processing, the control technology in the electronic systems, systematic hardware design and integration, multi-target detection and guidance, as well as wireless navigation and control. The future research directions are: imaging mechanism and image processing, image matching and tripping, multi-period and multi-angle data aggregation, as well as the multi-target identifications.
